Sylvia worked for major optical companies like ECCA, Pearle Vision, and Luxottica since 2000 as a General Manager. She quickly was recognized as a turnaround specialist and was know for transforming low performing locations into the highest performing in the region. Sylvia transitioned over to managing Vision Source for several years where she learned the intricacies of private practice and helped her location exceed revenue records.
In 2012, she partnered with Forge Direct Marketing where she learned web design & development, social media marketing, SEO optimization, and online reputation management. In 2014, Practice Excel was established with the intent to help practices improve their internal metrics and operations while simultaneously driving new patient growth through the implementation of effective marketing solutions.

I have a real passion for working with people, and truly love meeting with my clients on a monthly basis to review performance and discover ways to help them achieve their professional goals. Likewise, I am strangely attracted to numbers. In fact, when I’m working with a new client, I love delving into the details and crunching the numbers to uncovering hidden opportunities. I actually love spreadsheets and can be caught geeking-out over last month’s data reports.

Outside of Work
Sylvia loves taking road trips with her husband and four daughters. She loves brazilian martial arts and running. She is fluent in Spanish and is learning Japanese and French. Sylvia is also very involved in her community and church.
